Level 40 Retribution Paladin SoD Pre-Raid BiS For PvP

Some might also be inclined towards the PvP side in the Classic WoW Season of Discovery. In the previous theory crafting guide, we looked at the best-in-slot gear for Level 40 Paladins in PvE. Now let's check out the level 40 player versus player best in slot gear. Be advised the items below are subject to change as I am also on my way to level 40 and still discovering (that's the word of the day is it not?) what bis items there are out there. Another useful tip is that phase 1 gear options are still good well into level 30 and beyond. A few are still BiS items!

We will look first at the best pure PvP gear you can go with into the new battlegrounds without taking into consideration PvP rewards.

Note: Bonebiter is not actually your best-in-slot, The Jackhammer is but it is extremely unrealistic to obtain as it's a random BOE from Uldaman with a 0.01% drop chance. I then further discarded other very expensive BOEs since 99% of people won't be able to get them. Getting back to our guide now.
