The Paladin is a well-known D&D class and a playable character in many single-player and multiplayer RPG video games. That being said, it did not inspire a whole lot of icons, as you can see below. Perhaps it is more of a niche class in terms of play. But that doesn't mean I won't scour and gather them all.
I tried not to include vector or SVG files from various icon databases, as they usually make you pay for them and/or include a nasty watermark. The icons featured here are freely available across search engines like Google. In any case, as a disclaimer, that's where I mostly took them from. Where I have sourced from icon repositories, I chose only watermark-free assets with transparent backgrounds.
The Paladin Class Icon Database Listing
Anyway, the general idea of these icons is like this - let's say you randomly come across one of the images below. Then you should instantly know what it means. And recognize it as a Paladin icon without the context of a list or other knight images alongside it. So does that make sense?
To be fair, you will see a lot of World of Warcraft Paladin class icons. That is because perhaps WoW popularized this class in video games the most. But you will also see a Last Epoch Paladin icon & a Final Fantasy XIV Paladin icon too.
I also tried, in addition, to limit myself and not include logos. Besides, a separate database dedicated to Paladin logos is coming soon. Keep things tidy! Each thing with its own dedicated post. :-)
Furthermore, I made an effort to include as many or mainly the PNG version of any icon. That is to say, I prioritized transparent PNG versions for ease of use. And if it does not have a transparent background, it means I failed to find it.
